DMLE and Rainwalker

I recently traded for a DMLE here but the sheath it came with was pretty sucky, with very little retention and some pretty feeble kydex.

So I got onto Jeff Law (Rainwalker) and ordered up a kydex sheath with Tek-Lok. It finally came yesterday.

Jeff is just the best guy to deal with - total professional and he really pays attention to what you need. The sheath is top notch and fits the knife perfectly. Retention is great, and there's minimal contact with the blade to avoid the usual kydex scratching where possible. The DMLE is a great knife and it really does merit a sheath like this.

Rainwalker has been making my Pants for awhile now. He pays attention to detail and is truly an artist. He keeps shocking us in the Yard with amazing sheaths, both functional and darn sweet lookin!

Me likes... Due to an excessively generous wife, I picked up a Yard Hook a while back. It didn't come with a sheath and eventually I gonna have to do something with it. I'm a leather guy at heart, but that kydex looks real nice!

Rainwalker did this kydex for my Hook recently;

he was the first one I seen with all kinds of colors.

Yeah, I've seen orange, tan, OD and now red....

I'm thinking tan would be good for my next Dog. A Yard Guard or DFLE would be top of my list.
