The stamp, DMP, near the Spanish Notch stands for David Mark Palmer(Michigan). The blade is not forged. The finish is created in heat treating with coal and anthracite. These knives are not acid dipped. Gun blue is applied after heat treating and buffed off with emery cloth. This helps bring out the patterns that were created by the heat treat process. These knives are not "stamped out" , but cut out of annealed 1095 with a bandsaw.

I am asking $120 OBRO(includes S/H, PP G&S) for the following reasons:

A well maintained, durable fixed blade knife w/Curly Maple Handle…

A very well made heavy duty leather sheath initialed by the maker…

An attached sharpening steel

Handle: 4.5”

Blade: 4.5”

Weight: 9.1 oz w/sheath, 3.5 oz w/o sheath
