Upgraded to a KME and don't have much use for this setup anymore. I've sharpened around seven knives with all four stones and two or three more on just the fine/extra-fine stone. Both stones are in good shape. I took care to use light pressure and the stones have broken in a bit compared to the first uses.

Comes with the DMT Sharpening Guide and the wooden case to hold the stones. One side of the angle guide, near the end of the clamp, came into contact with a stone and a bit of plastic was rubbed off - this didn't and shouldn't affect the function of the clamp other than looks. One of the pictures shows the clamp wear. I used the wood box as a stone holder and it shows some use as well.

FWIW, most of the knives I sharpened on it came out pretty even when put on the KME. I used a couple of shims/blocks to achieve lower angles than the ones preset on the angle guide (also why the angle guide hit the stone :)). If you have any questions on the setup or condition, please feel free to ask.

I'm interested in plain edge folders, particularly Spyderco's. I've also been looking to pick up a Kershaw Leek and possibly a Esee Zancudo. I'd be interested in KME add-ons - anything related to bridging the gap between the 1500 stone and pastes/emulsions. Thanks for looking!
