DMT aligner guide questions

For a blade approx 1/8" thick and
protruding approx 1/2" out of the clamp
about 4° less than indicated.
Slightly dependent on thickness and width.

BTW under similar circumstances the Gatco angles are correct, as indicated.

here is a letter that DMT sent me

Dear Mr. Clement,

Thank you for your email. The angles on the Aligner guide are for a 1"
blade from 20 degrees to 47 degrees with 4 degree intervals.
