DMT Aligner Sharpening Kit for D2 blades - how good is it?

I purchased a numbrer of D2 knives lately and have read that DMT diamond sharpners are good for D2.
Has anyone used the Aligner kit, If so how do you like the Aligner?
I have a lansky and it can not sharpen small blades at low angles 17 Degrees. Can the DMT do this?

I use a DMT Aligner kit
It is excellent for rebeveling those naughty Queen factory grinds

For small Queen D2 blade like a whittler or stockman
I use the DMT Aligner on #6 notch.
The nose of the plastic blade holder I wore down with a course DMT.

The table included shows the #6 notch at 20 degrees for a 1/2" blade
