DMT Customer Service? A+

I'm really only a lurker here, but after having a problem with the ceramic hone for my DMT aligner I felt like I ought to say something.
IMHO the Aligner is probably the best such system, and that's coming from the former owner of both Lansky and Smith systems.
Anyway, my ceramic stone has had a couple of issues, and my attempts to fix them (lapping, etc) only made things worse, so I decided to call DMT and see what my options were.
I was upfront and told them I'd tried to fix it myself on a lapping plate and asked if that voided my warranty, and after the woman who took my call consulted with someone else, she came back on the phone to get my name and address so they could get a new one in the mail to me.
Very polite and helpful staff, and the process took all of 5 minutes. I've never really interacted with some of the other manufacturers' customer service departments, but just wanted to share this very positive experience with a company which I feel makes some quality products.

Good to hear about a company that does things right. Btw, nice to see a lurker "decloak" and post.:D
