DMT Diamond Sharpening Card help needed

hi, im quite a beginner when it comes to sharpening, and just bought a fine DMT Diamond Sharpening Card, to carry around in my wallet, and would like to hear some user opinions on it, and especially some help on how to use it correctly please.

DMT makes good stuff, but I'll let somebody else teach you how to use it.

Unless your using a very small bladed knife the best way to use the credit card sized diamond hone is probably to use a circular method using as much of the card as you can for the blade area needing sharpening. Secure the card to a block of wood or something similar with double sided tape or velcro (or use screws turned into the wood at both ends of the card to keep it from moving around on you while your sharpening) to get it up off the surface. Works like a charm.
