DMT Fine Convex Stone

Anyone have experience using the Fine Convex Diamond Stone for their DMT Aligner when sharpening recurved edges? Does it serve its intended purpose?

It works well, its just too bad that's the only grit they offer. It can get a edge very sharp though.
