Anyone on here ever bought any knife scales from DNT3 he has a page on facebook and is from the Czech Rep. his scales look very nice. I only found one youtube video of a guy who bought a copper and carbon fiber for his ZT.

I bought a simple carbon fiber clip from him after seeing one on his instagram. The price was good, only $15 for a kershaw/zt style two hole clip.

I paid, then waited. I inquired once about it and he said it was shipping soon. He then soon sent a tracking number, which stated the label had been created but not shipped. So I waited and when the paypal 45 day dispute limit arrived, I disputed the transaction so I would not be out any money since I thought it would not arrive as the package still showed no progress in shipping. He responded to the dispute with the same tracking number, which then showed invalid in the USPS system. I figured it was over at that point and would let paypal sort it out. Then today the clip comes in the mail, totally unexpected, but I am happy with that.

So, like many pimpers, be expected to prepare for a long wait. Even longer since he is in the Czech Republic. He did come through eventually though. I do wonder if he would have sent it had I not disputed the paypal transaction. My sale was small, only $15, so either way I would not be out much if I got screwed.

Just thought I would share my experience.

Yeah was just wondering I went ahead and ordered two scales for my ZT to try out. I'm sure it will take a while but the pictures look great. Do you like the clip?

It looks good, does not have the same retention as a metal clip though. I put it on my Kershaw OD-1, and it does not quite touch the metal on the clip side. Works better on my Vapor III.

I ordered a scale for my zt0566 2 months ago. He initially told 21 days give or take a few. He's told me on multiple occasions, "I'll finish it for you this weekend" the last I heard that was 3 weeks ago. I'm starting to get a little nervous but I guess we'll see. I've not seen much negativity regarding his work but I could ask for a little bit better communication.

Ive had him make scales for my zt 0566bw, my kershaw emerson cqc-7, and my kershaw strobe. All are great quality and craftsmanship, but like others stated be prepared to wait long. His work is awesome and his prices are good, it just takes a while to get your stuff. I recommend him highly if you're willing to wait. Here are some pics of the custom work he has done for me ---> http://imgur.com/a/dZ4Lt

How long was your wait versus what he told you?

He did a great job with making a set of carbon fiber Benchmade 707 scales as well as a single scale for my Kershaw Emerson cqc-7k. Wait time was about two weeks or so.

Gotcha. Funny thing is, he just got at me with my tracking # hopefully just a couple more days and I'll have my new scale.

He told me after he finished this week it would take two weeks I ordered a white brick pattern g10 and a blue textured g10 for my zt the pictures. Look great

I'm going on a 10 week wait now. 2 weeks since I've gotten the the tracking number and usps hasn't updated the tracking info at all. Hope it gets here by Christmas

Ive never heard of him.
Use the local boys on here.
There are a bunch of guys in the makers section that would do a great job.

Yes, apparently the "origin post is preparing shipment" notice is what usps shows when a package is in transit from overseas and in customs holding. So it took 3 weeks before the package ever made to the first usps facility in New York. It was supposed to be delivered Christmas eve but my mail carrier wouldn't leave it in the mailbox since its priority mail. Then I left for vacation for a week so it's still sitting at the post office waiting for me. 😡😡😡

Finally got it. Worth the wait, I say. The finish on this thing is great! Everything lined up perfectly and the transition from the cf to copper is almost seamless. The flat finish on the cf gives off an almost 3d look too. Love the way this thing turned out
