Do Any Folders Have Serrations On Top?

I've never seen a folder with serrations on the spine. Is there such a thing? I've seen plenty of Bowie type knives with serations on the spine, but never any folders that I can recall.

Well on most folders, the spine of the blade is exposed. And a sharp edge will cut up your pants, boxers (if applicable), and thighs, when in your pocket.

Stressing the back of a folder's blade is normally avoided by those who want to retain their fingers. Locks are helpful, but they can fail.

Are you talking about actually serrations on an edge, or a saw-back section like on the Rambo "survival" style knives?

the Emerson rhino has full spine serrations. It is one of the most vicious folders ever designed outside of a Steve Ryan model 1.

The REKAT Pocket Hobbit also had serrations designed for offensive use rather than utility.

It might be a good product for a new manufacturer.

Say.....Levi Strauss.....maybe?

:D
