Do any of you have "dress knives"

Such as, you go out to a nice steak house, (which by me would be the Cleveland Hyde Park), what knife would you take? I see countless people on this and other forum's with hard work EDC knives, but does any have a fancy knife that would go along with, to say, a nice watch? I have this Wenger that the scales are polished, and goes along with my "going out" watch. I don't usually use it, other than cutting a piece of thread, for example.

Just got the UKPK in FRN. I think it looks good in the role of a dress knife. Not very intimidating, very sleek and simple. Slow opener too.

Sog Flash 1. Very, very discreet little knife. I like knives that are deep carry, and discreet. It is good for dress occasions when you don't want an inch of G-10 sticking/sagging out of your pocket.

dont have a watch to match but i do have the 4" linerlock done by santa fe stoneworks in malachite and mother of pearl

I usually use my Al Mar Hawk (Ultralight). The other one I like to use is a Benchmite.

+1. I have an Al Mar Falcon Ultralight that I think works very well for this. Also my Spyderco Phoenix and Gayle Bradley.

I'll sometimes carry an old beretta airlight which is small, light and non-intimidating. It is engraved with my initials and was given to me as a gift by a high school girlfriend when I was 16. (middle in image)

My Case Damascus Peanut, when it gets here.Otherwise, like knarfeng, one of my traditional slipjoints.

I'd like to get a small insingo for exactly this reason. At present, the closest thing would probly be my umnumzaan, and I think you all know it's not the most subtle knife...

small african blackwood sebenza or my spydie lava.

My Leek or my SAK Pioneer, usually. They're slim, discreet, and they don't tear up the pockets of my pants when I'm wearing a suit.

My Kershaw 'Gentleman's Folder', #1993, a lockback in black Micarta and VG-10, is my 'dress-up' knife. Of course, my wife complains about my doing that - insists I stretch her hose!

PS I am not ashamed of any of my folders - they'd all look good at McD's!

I'm in a tux about once a month for concerts, and I have adopted an Opinel No 8 as my dress knife. It's so simple and friendly looking, while still being functional, and elegant that it just seems like a natural shoe-in for the role. That..and it's really lightweight, so I can put it into the jacket breast pocket and not have it print when I'm onstage. I'll also generally cary a SAK for the tools.
