Looks like a vice grip mark on kydex.

it is on kydex.

The reason I ask is I have this blade that I've had for a long time. Picked it up at a local sportsmans show and I cant for the life of me remember the maker. The blade itself is unmarked.

Heh... For the longest time I stared at that mark thinking... But that looks nothing at all like a Vice Grips.

Here's a photo of the blade...I've used it to split fire wood a few times via baton and it seems to have held up pretty well.
