Do any US Bladesmiths/Companies forge in A8-tool steel?

I've heard some good things about this steel how its supposed to outperform A2 and other tool steels in many areas but haven't seen any companies or individual bladesmiths using it. Is it challenging to work with? The only one bladesmith I've read about using A8 for blades is Fredrik Haakonsen from Norway.

Like s7- everybody recognizes how good it is but hardly no one will touch it....

I believe if a steel is modified it is no longer the same steel

Modified A8 (aka LSS Chipper Steel, A8 modified, and, if the rumors are correct, INFI) is a specific steel made by Latrobe (data sheet here).
