Do I have a problem?

I have a ceiling fan in my bedroom where each blade has a metal edge. As I woke up I was looking at the blade and what I did not think was how I could sharpen those blades...

I wondered what edge would be better for airflow - scandi or convex...

Sheesh...

I would like to see a ceiling man made from large, smooth convexed (no sharp) forged Nessmuk blanks......

OK, now you gave me a lot more to think about.....Houston, we have a problem.....

I would say a convex. Much like how an airplane shape uses its aerodynamics.

What was the show where they used a ceiling fan to slice sausage rapidly? I need to find that again..

Convex for sure :)

I think a bunch of hawkbills or tom brown trackers would look cool :)

There are two types of posters on this thread:

a) Those that lie and act like I am the only one that have a problem.

b) Those that simply ignore the whole 'problem' part and start thinking about edge geometry.

Either way - you are BOTH as sick as me! ;)

Or - that is what I like to think to make myself feel better.
