Do I need a BK-7 if I already have a 9 and a 2?

I was in the exact same boat as you. I had my 2 and a 9. The only reason I purchased the 7 was cause I didn't have it yet. It sees 5 times the action my 2 does and 10 times the action my 9 does. I absolutely love my BK7, still don't have a 16 yet, still want one. I at first thought it was just a shortened 9, untill I used it, It is a great blade.

Give the 16 a little bit of consideration.....A 9 for the big stuff an 11 or 14 that is always on you and a 16 for all the stuff in between.....Just a thought....

RB- I like yer BK7. The stipping and patinas are nice and all but but just a worn factory finish is how I roll. Mine aren't worn nearly enough though.

I cut adhesive vinyl paint mask for the design, laid it out on the blade, then etched it in with pcb enchant. You can see on the detail stuff that it bleeds a little, but I actually like the bleed pattern on the eagle here.

Hi guys, I have 2 BK-9's and 2 BK-2's, and to fuel my becker needs, I was wondering if I should pull the 7 or not. I have all in the production becker line except the 5, 15, 16, 7, and 11. Was really interested in the 7, but I was wondering if I really need it or not given I have the 2 and 9 to pretty much cover most knife tasks. I was thinking also getting the BK-5 since it's a unique knife that may do slicing tasks better than the ones I have.
