This knife came about because of some steel I had left over from some custom orders. It is a very nice knife in that I would no mind using it for many different uses. Like it would be a killer self defense knife, but it could also hold its own in the kitchen or camp site. It has a convex edge grind so it’s strong but very sharp. The handle is made from the RARE JEAN MICARTA that I make for my custom knives. The blade is made by stock removal but has a finish that looks like it was forged. There are 2 sold brass pins to hold blade to the handle and one more pin to hold the back of the handle together. The handle has a 5 layer superglue finish that has a glass buffed surface. Blade was tempered in 450 for 1hr + 2hr for a total hardness of 58-60 RC. It does not come with a sheath but I can have one made for around 20 bucks. I don’t do my own so I use custom leather shop here in my town. The price for this knife is $195.00 plus $10.00 shipping with insurance. The size of the knife is as such

SOLD

Edge- 3 15/16” just a hair under 4”
First finger hole size is- 1”
Second finger hole is 1 1/8”
Blade width is 2”
Thickness is 1/8”
Steel type is O-1
Total length is 5 5/8”
Handle is 4 ¾”
Handle thickness is 13/16”

The blade has File work running down the spine of the blade and goes from tip of the blade all the way to the end which is in the handle. The file work on the part of the blade that is in the handle is not filled with epoxy and has a nice grip feeling to it. The handle is attached with epoxy and brass pins so it’s not going anywhere. This knife was Made to be used and loved, so just say “I’ll take it” if you want it. Feel free to email me with questions. It’s been hard for me to get some of my work up here because I have had no time to make one that has not been for a customer already. Hope you like it, all comments are welcome. That really is an interesting design, looks like you could wrap your thumb comfortably around the front for precise work. I find myself holding my hand up to the picture to guess at the feel---which probably looks a tad strange to my coworkers. ;)

Pretty neat!

yes it is very comfortable. the thumb can rest on the spine for prescise work. when ever i make a knife i try to make somthing diffrent and this time i think i did it.

I went your website looking for anything else you make, is it under construction?

The gallery and other buttons didn't do anything.

yep still working on it. see the bad thing is that i just started taking pictures of my knives. so im still trying to round up pictures of my past knives.

ya now that i look at it, it does look like an ice skate

Ok here you go, i did a video of me using this knife to cut some stuff as well as how good it fits in my hands. check it out and see how good it is, if it does not sell soon I probabley wont beable to resist the temptin of keeping it.

ok It looks like ill drop the price to $150.00

just say ill take it

I think it is a weird looking knife, but I like it. I really enjoy designs of knives that take retention into consideration.
