Lone Star, welcome to the forum. Since you have been here awhile, you know a lot of information is here along with a bunch of great guys. Great knife, great tactical company . . .
Enjoy.
Be safe.
It was very tempting to take the knife to its neck but sadly this was in a residential area and these deer were tame. We were feeding them bread and carrots out of our hands and taking pictures with them so I wanted to see how he felt about knives, and well the kydex snap as I pulled it out spooked him a little but then he thought it was food and sniffed it long enough for me to snap a few pics.
On a side note I have used my ESEE 4 deer hunting and had to slit a throat of suffering deer then used the knife to skin and quarter him then process back home.
