This company will charge your card before they ship :mad:. They will back order most order while still charging your card :mad: Then if you cancel an order after being lied to about when your order will be in stock. Beware you will never get your money back :mad:!!! They will give you the run around on the phone and by email (if they even answer your email). I can not say enough about how bad this company is to deal with. The worst company I have ever dealt with on line. BEWARE Spread the word; do not buy from The Blade Shop. Com

I too was taken by them, but after getting both my and the TN Attorney General involved I received a refund. There are numerous posts about the Blade Shop here unfortunately most folks see them after the fact.

Not 100% certain it is the same scum bags. Can't be. You can't screw just about everyone you deal with, have a horrible BBB rating and the Attorney General of TN looking at you, and maintain a 97% positive feedback. Something does not make sense.
 
Why the hell hasn't there been any legal action taken against the scumbags at the bladeshop?
 
if you use your credit card and dont get what you have paid for then just call your credit card company and do a charge back. they will just refund your money for you and take it back from them plus a pently payment too.
 
I had a problem with these jerks last year too. Back ordered everything so I called to cancel. They didn't charge my card back and after everything I read, I just called up my credit card company. They got my money back, no problems, no questions. It was a big hassle though. I'm shocked that they're still in business!!
 
Agreed my friend. I had to call my credit card company to get a refund on a canceled order that was never shipped.
 
Ya know...I had nothing but pretty reasonable service from them. They even sent me a Microtech Combat Troodon for free! but then asked for it back as they shipped it to me by mistake :(
 
I can't believe you guys would spread such slander about the blade shop. They have great prices and excellent service.








Jk. If I lived near the mall they run their scam out of, I would go up there and put my foot in their A$$!!! I can't believe google would advertise for these crooks!
 
Yeah, this place sucks. I ordered a BM 53, and as soon as i paid with my CC, i get an email saying *back ordered*:jerkit:

I just called them and they said a week to two weeks to come in!!! And i placed my order this past Sunday!:mad:

They'll go away soon enough with service like this:D

You could always tell them it's back ordered and you'll ship it as soon as it comes in.:rolleyes:

I dont think they will go away till everybody stops buying from them the only good thing abought them is thats how i found this forum when i orderd a knife from them i googled to review them and found this place that was over 2 years ago somebody must still buying from them or they would already be gone . Took me 2 months to finally get my knife .
 
These guys are at almost every gun show in knoxville here lately and knoxville has about 2 gunshows a month, they seem like pretty good people. They just seem to suck at online sales.. I talk to them all the time at gun shows, if I see them again, I will ask them whats up with their online sales and how they feel about the forum's general opinion of them.
 
Guys, I am finding several dealers, that are at best shi--y.
Even some makers have a lot to be desired! I sent a well known maker 1500.00 for some knives that I have not received. He cashed my check, that I sent over night and he received on tuesday. I had to put a stop order on the check. Being a 65 yrs. Young and have been collecting antique knives since I was 15.( original Remingtons , Winchester and Pre 1950 Hen & Rooster, Case and India steel. I just retired and want to collect slip joints and lock backs from custom makers, I have found you can,t trust anyone with your money.
 
My San Mai Recon Scout came so poorly packaged (factory box in plastic bag), the
box was destroyed. The knife was ok, but I'll never buy from them again.
