Do pairs sell well?

I have a pair of knives that I can make matching sheaths for (I trade Walt Sheath services for knives - it has been a GREAT deal - and I hope he is happy).

Anyway - he made six blades - three sets of pairs. Should I sheath them as pairs - or sell them independently.

Here is a shot of the knives for reference. What do you think would sell better (I want Walt to make as much money as he can from his blades - he is a good man and deserves the money he gets for his blades).

IMO you would get the most out of them by selling thing as single knives. So i personally would not sell them as pairs. Someone else might be able give a different perspective. It just seems it is a lot harder for someone to throw out the extra money to buy 2 knives together unless it is a great deal. But buying one knife is a lot easier.

I feel that they would sell pretty well in pairs, if they were advertised as "father and son knives". That way it would be like a matching set for a father and son to have in common. But they would need separate sheaths.

I find that father and son pairs sell well, not always at the same time but just in case the sheaths should look alike.
