Do Sales of INFI Mirror The Economy?

Yes it has alot to do with it, but its not the only reason.

Busse has upped there production a good bit in the past year with many new models and re-releases. If the amount of Busse's made were the same as it was two years ago they would still be hard to get, and selling very fast on the exchange. They are making to many, esp for this economy.

"If it flies, floats or f. . . rent it!" (Funny advice from a client.)

Yes, # of F/S posts on the Busse XC is a contrary indicator of the market. You CAN pick up some deals. I know I did recently. But I've got a pile of steel that I really don't need and should clear house. NOW what am I gonna do with all of you dingdongs fire-saling everything???

You keep buying more of course as the market is falling....just like I did on Nortel and a couple of others in early 2000. Course I took a bath.

I like the advice on what to rent :D

I'd say they'd only be making too many if they had trouble selling what they make. I don't know the details, obviously, as I don't work for Busse Combat, but it seems to me they have no trouble selling their knives. And that clearly indicates they're not making too many. Too many is when they make so many they can't get them sold.

Now, Busse may be making 'too many' knives for third parties to make a lot of money, or even get back what they paid for the knives themselves, on the secondary market, but I really don't think that should be Busse's concern. It's not like they make knives so other people could resale them at a profit.

This might take it off topic, but I'm sure there's a lot of people who buy just to resell at a profit. Sometimes it's a HUGE mark up too. The SAR5 comes to mind since I was recently in the market for one.
On the other hand though, if the demand is there, there will always be people who will take advantage of it regardless of what they're selling.
All that being said though, it has nothing to do with Busse the company.

I don't know about selling, but I have passed up knives I normally would have bought, loosing thousands a day in the stock market puts a dampener on fun money.

It is kind of odd that although I don’t need the money I had invested any time soon I still feel like I shouldn’t spend any. And even more odd is that I kind of get into all the ways I can cut my spending. It gets to be a challenge of how much fun I can have and not spend a nickel.

Of course on the flip side I'll spend four days at the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite for our birthdays with my girlfriend and her son but that is too much fun to miss. :D
