Do the components of the TW-90 hold up to years of daily use?

We use both a KMG and TW-90, the KMG is nice but the TW-90 blows it away. The TW-90 besides being much less noisy is a very solid and well built machine. Have not had the chance to use the surface grinder attachment yet but it looks very cool, and who doesn't like a grinder that can flip 90* sideways?

I've also had the opportunity to meet Travis, great guy and very talented.

Just received my TW90 with surface grinder attachment a few days ago. I should be done setting it up today. I looked at all kinds of grinders and even played with the idea of making my own. Even went as far as collecting the major components. But in addition to the 90* feature it was the surface grinder attachment that sold it for me. It was a hard check to write but all the positive reviews it gets makes me feel better. I know it will be a well chosen investment which will pay dividends down the line.

If the surface grinder attachment works, that would be a decision maker for me. Frank

It works.

On Saturday, among other things, I watched Travis take .060" off of unhardened steel in one clean pass with the small wheel attachment and surface grinder set-up. He admitted that's not what one would normally do, but it can do it. I also watched him demonstrate using a sine bar and shim to grind various bevels. Pretty much all the stuff he does in his videos, except live right there in front of me. The TW-90 grinder is very quiet, very powerful, dead solid and remarkably versatile. I'm composing the first draft of my letter to Santa as we speak :)
