I just about ready to send a shipment off to WSSI. I was told there are certian woods they won't touch because they don't handle the process well. They mentioned claro walnut and myrtlewood. I have some of both, so I know not to send them.

However I also have some:
English Walnut
Eucalyptus
California Walnut
Figured Walnut

Do the above woods need to be stabilized? I know Walnut is a hard wood and there is a matter of opinion on whether or not it "needs" to be stabilized. If it can handle the process I'll send it but there is no sense sending wood that they won't do either.

Mie will warn you about all the walnuts, says they some times turn black and you can't see the grain very well.Having said that I sent a bunch of blac walnut to him and it turned out great.
On the others I can't help.
