Do we want to have an HI khukuri Konvention in Florida this winter?

To all
I will try to centralize the meeting place with in Florida,if possible.Once I know how many and where they are coming from.
Uncle Bill will be flying in to South Florida because that is where I live and where he will be staying. The meeting must take place on a Sat,that will give those who have come a ways;travel time to return home before Mon.
I am open to suggestions.

On the other hand, it might be very useful to meet in one of the four corners areas with three other state lines within spittin distance. If it's this infectious by web, things could conceivably get boisterous enough to make precautions prudent.

It is a ways off and anything could happen. If we get more from outside of Florida than inside.I would want to be reasonable untill doing so becomes un-reasonable.There will always be someone just on the out side of the circle now matter how big we draw it.This could change from a Florida convention to an EastCoast convention,or maybe if it gets really big we could find a neutral country.

Keep the suggestion rolling in.
Thanks

Just for FNG's edification, in the early days of Mustang Ranch, it was a bunch of trailers near where Storey, Washoe, and Lyon counties converged. And he had leases and utilities set to go. By the time one county got a warrant to raid him, he'd have moved the trailers into the next county.

Well, I'm a little late to the dance as I just got back from CO, WY and MT, but I'll chime in and say I'll be looking forward to a South Florida event.

Ray, keep me posted and I'll try to lend a hand.

Thank you, Jim. Appreciate it.

Fill me in on any recent acquisitions you have made while I was gone. (Unless of course you have actually limited yourself to just one.

Not this time, Uncle, we were more fortunate than that.

Almost as bad out west (depending on state) are those infernal "tar snakes" used to repair roads. When heated up, they can really get the bike doing the shimmy.

I know all the bikers are going to laugh at this but I was a trail rider mostly and the Death Valley area was one of my favorite places to ride. There, one of the great road hazards was donkey dung, especially on the sharp, blind curves. There were about 4,000 wild burros in Death Valley when I was riding there and I can tell you from experience that 4,000 burros can produce a lot of dung! And, plenty of bikers met face to face with the road because of it.
