I did. Not so much anymore. I tried the super steels and went back to simple carbon steels and INOX. I had G-10 and micarta and ended up with cellador and delrin in my pocket. Now my focus has narrowed. I want my knives easy to reprofile without a belt sander. Thin enough to cut an apple. Tough enough to hit the occasional staple without chipping. And cheap enough to replace should I lose one. YMMV
