Do you carry a knife when running/jogging?

Haven't really carried a knife for SD with me while jogging, I have on some occasions if it's dark already, it just makes you feel a lot safer sometimes.
But I always have a Spyderco LadybugIII on my keys if a piece of menacing string appears mysteriously.

I always carry my emerson CQC 7 clipped to my pant while i running..i have to wipe off sweat after i finish

A female fox will approach humans aggressively if there is a litter of kits nearby.

Funny that this was the first post I saw after getting back in from my evening jog. I too live in an area where there have been attacks perpetrated by both human and hound and wouldn't think of heading out for some roadwork without some form of protection.

I've run with everything from foot of 1" steel pipe (switch hands throughout the run and it's a great forearm/shoulder workout in addition to your cardio) to a S&W Airweight in a coat pocket during colder months.

Right now a 2nd Gen Delica is filling the need nicely. As someone else mentioned, I can't even feel it clipped into the waist of my shorts, but it's very quick and easy to deploy.

My current jogging companions. The Sansa combats boredom.
