Do you consider yourself as SAKs Fans?

hmm, good question. my answer is yes, BUT, i dont really collect them, ive got 3 of them. but i do have other multi-tools.

I have a huge selection of SAKs, kind of a "working" collection, because they all get used at one time or another. And I am a huge fan, too. I had two sitting here in a pencil holder on my desk that I use at work all the time, no one bats an eye. But if I pull out my Kershaw Chive or Leek to cut something, people object, even thou the SAKs are larger.

But yes, I am a huge fan of the Victorinox SAKs.

Ahhhh..... so far i only limit myself to 4 layer saks.... gonna get me some of those champs!

its your fault supratentorial!

How about a Victorinox SwissChamp XAVT? ;)

Absolutely I'm a SAK fan. SAKs make my everyday life so much easier. Nobody else seems to want to supply the same package, so I think I will be a fan for quite some time. I actually think its odd that multi bladed knives rarely have a screwdriver? In these modern times who wouldn't want one handy?

Absolutely agree JackNate! Thats why my SAKs got more use than my other knives.. Even when someday the chinese made more clones in the market,i still would use victorinox since the reliability never dissapoint me.

No matter what folder I am carrying (or fixed blade) I ALWAYS have a Vic SAK on me and always will.

Great value for the money, and I wonder how most people get through the day without one.

As far as in pocket carry the Climber and Farmer have become my "go-to" models.

I'm on the hunt for a Farmer mod with scissors added.

the answer is yes. I have really have grown to like the small classic. just enough blade to do most jobs.

i wish one sak is enough for me hehehe... but i'm not regreting my drawer full of saks anyway hehe...

while i'm not the biggest fan of the "regular" saks except for the rambler i really dig the 111 mm versions. i think they perform pretty good, are quite sturdy, inexpensive and at least i think they hold an edge longer than the smaller saks - maybe that's because of the difference in blade thickness.
the sak i dig the most is this work horse i recently aquired. i exchanged the scales:

if you want to see more pics check this one out. ;)

you dont have enough variant... all your saks seem the same... and your working place look like victorinox factory....

hehehe... kidding aside... wish someday i could visit victorinox factory in my lifetime... just every saks fans dream right?

I really like Vic SAKs. My first SAK, bought in 1977, was a small Wenger with only a pen blade and file which opened from opposite side. I wasn't totally sold then. I eventually bought what I think is a Vic Spartan, a version that's no longer made; it had a very sturdy red plastic handle (different from today's) and lacked the toothpick/tweezers, and gave it to my dad. Years later, when I went off to Taiwan for several years, my dad gave it to me, and that SAK was my only knife and held up great. I realized this knife was better than I had thought it was.

I now own a lot of SAKs (mostly Vic), but am starting to prefer smaller or more simple models for carry. I like a lot of them, but the ones I really like are the Executive, Alox Soldier, and Classic. I like models that there is some use for every implement, if it's going to be pocket-carried. Nowadays, the Vic products I EDC are the Exec in the pocket and the Spirit S on my belt for stronger tool needs. The only thing I would do different with the Spirit would be to have a horizontal carry option on the sheath.

I would say I am a fan of them although I don't have hundreds of them.
I have a handful of Vic's and EDC a Wenger Esquire with an SD Mod.

some collector do have hundreds... i've plenty, but not that many... still its more than enough for living 600 years on earth!

you can only have a couple, but a fan is still a fan buddy...

I guess I'm a fan/owner/user also. Daily I carry a Wenger Alpine Backpacker along with my always present Stockman.
