do you EDC a sharpener?

I do have a 600 grit DMT Diasharp diamond sharpening card that I sometimes carry in my wallet.

Dmt folding hones in fine, medium, and coarse grit and recently added a Buck diamond hone as well (pionted and round for serrations). These stay in my backpack at all times and have sharpened knives literally thousands of times. I get some odd looks while sharpening at work- but then again everybody knows me as the resident knife guy anyways.

Actually the Double Stuff and some sorta diamond hone makes a nice compact EDC. The thing with the credit card DMTs is it's really easily to slice your finger off

i carry a 2"x3" Eze-Lap fine diamond in my small BOB with me everywhere. i find i give them away often to friends, they certainly appreciate them. also proud to say they are made in my homestate just a few miles away in Carson City Nv! definately a decent stone for the price, good stocking stuffers too!

GarageBoy, I put the card down and use it like a bench hone. Sometimes I need to fuss around to find a surface where it won't slide. I work near the edge of a flat counter or table to get hand clearance.

Sometimes I carry a round Spyderco ceramic file (fine), and on longer journeys a coarser stone. usually you can find some improvised sharpener

I've got an old stone in my center console in my truck, I'm thinking about getting a Buck sharpener (looks like a pen).
