Because, I like them.

Whether you like them or not, Here's another:

I can't decide between a g-10 Leek and a Black BM 555HG. I think I'm digging the Kershaw Packrat also.

I do have a leek already, but its an older model with a combo edge (I dont like combo edges).
 
Not really, although I get tired of reading the same answers all the time: "Get a Sebbie" and "Get a Mora" are two of the ones I see most frequently.

instead of you guys telling me to get a sebbie, I should be telling myself to get a better job. Thats why I gave you two options that are at an achievable price range :thumbup:

Get the 555! I just ordered mine last night. Much tougher knife than the Leek, imo. If you want a slimmer profile and a lighter cutter, get the Leek.

I can't wait till mine gets here!
 
get a BM 551

the full size griptilian is so much better than the mini in my opinion, the 551 model plain edge is so nice.

the g10 leek looks awesome too, i was gonna order it last week but i actually chose to order the kershaw RAM instead.

Get the 555HG, I'd say. Very smooth and fast, the axis lock is great.
 
I myself don't get involved in a lot of those discussions that are about what should I buy. My Dad always tells me people are gonna do what they want anyway so you may as well leave them alone.:D

Most often these threads are very simple choices. The OP is usually looking for someone here to qualify his decision... Some times someone will post with some real need for info because they are not sure about the specs or feel of a certain knife and are looking for that info... Not "Make a decision fo me" or "Tell me I done good" Thats all!

I don't know if it's the early years of marriage, but my wife makes me breakfast nearly every morning. And she's carrying our first child. Don't know what all you old timers are complaining about. This is awesome.

In this economy if your having an issue deciding it means 1 of 2 things. 1 you can afford all three so buy em then show em off. 2 you cant afford them so dont ask us to talk you into spending your money! Well, which is it? We'll wait.....

O its definitely the last option. But regardless of what you guys say I'll be buying one to feed my obsession. In fact, somewhere down the line I'll probably own both of them. I just wanted to see if you guys really get tired of these threads or if you find them fun, because there certainly are a lot of them.

Most of these threads are just conformation for what the OP already has decided. For instance, I was going to purchase the 555, unless of course you all raved about the leek.....In which I would buy both...
