Do you feet naked when you forget your EDC home?

Few days ago I left home without my small EDC folder. It's always in my coin pocket. When far from home I realized I forgot it and felt really bad and unproteceted. I live in a small city in Greece with little to zero criminality. I carry a small folder for the last 30 years. Of course it wasn't the first time to forget the EDC home and I always feel naked without it. Most of the times I carry a messenger bag because I need some things all day for my job (engineer) and a leatherman or SAK is always there. But this time I thought the bag wasn't necessary and I left it home too.
Do you also feel the same without your EDC? Of course as I saw in another thread, the americans carry 2 or 3 knives so it's hard to go out with none at all. Me also but this time it happened.

Hardly ever are my feet naked, I usually wear boots;) As for the knives I feel the same way and will often go to grab a knife that isn't there if I didn't carry it.

To ensure I always have something on me, I now have a Leatherman Squirt P4 and Fenix L0D on my keyring.

I feel weird when I forget my normal EDC gear. Obviously I can get by without them but when you are accustomed to carrying something it feels odd when you are without it. I usually always have a light, a knife, and a watch on me and if I forget any of these I do feel somewhat naked.

I hate to say it but there are 2 things i will actually turn around and go home to get if i forget them
1. my knife
2. my cell phone.
it never fails if you don't have a knife with you you'll need it.

That is why I keep a little something in the ashtray and in some of the bag's I might have with me.

I started carrying a couple of years ago after some self defense / knife training. I have it in my mind that the day I forget it I am going to get jumped by some thugs...

Paranoid? I think so :)

Big gun & small knife, I feel uncomfortable if either is missing.

No gun and Benchmade 710 in M2, if I forget the knife I really feel unprotected.

Small knife and no gun, I feel OK if wearing running shoes, otherwise.....oh crud!

Ive been carrying a knife since sixth grade , some 39 years ago. Yes I must have one. Same goes for a watch, wallet, reading glasses, comb. Now Im starting to get like that with my multitool /light.

Yup, same here.

I keep an extra knife in the car so if I forget it I can get the extra. Now if I forget my whole rig I will go back home.

I keep a Victorinox classic on my keyring, so it's impossable for me to leave home with NO knife on me at all.

So do I, but I still feel naked when I forget my EDC, wich is not really often.

But I also feel naked when someone borrows my knife and goes where I can't see them for a few minutes, I tend to worry.

It doesn't happen very often..........actually only two times that I can remember. But both times I really felt at a loss without that big knife resting in my right front pocket.

Yes, I feel really bad without atleast one knife on me.Last time it happened I was already sitting in the bus, so I couldn' t go back and get it.But it happens really rarely with me.

Can't really remember the last time it happened but there is always a Kershaw folder in the glovebox so if it did happen I would be covered. Worse is the feeling of an empty holster when it should be filled.

It is very rare for me to leave the house with out my knife. But, when it does happen, I DO feel naked.

Especially when travelling by air. The time when passing through TSA till I get to my destination gives me the Willy's. Not having a multi-tool is even creepier.

All is fine once I get to where I'm going. There is something always waiting at the other end.
