Do you feet naked when you forget your EDC home?

Do I feel naked? In a sense, but really I feel more like an idiot especially each and every one of those 95 times during the day when I reach for it and it is not there. But this is a good thing in that I can use this as an excuse to buy more toys!!! I now have a spare stashed in each of my cold weather jackets, riding jackets (motorcycle), carry bag, car, backpack (camping gear gets multiple knives) etc. The only problem is that now I am now having to really stretch the rules of practicality to justify new purchases.

I've done that a few times. I also was called for Jury Duty pretty recently. Ended up not getting picked, but it was weird to spend 7 hours in a courthouse without even my SAK Rambler.

I have a either a backpack or nylon gym bag that travels with me in my car daily, with all the miscellaneous stuff I need. I always keep a spare folder in there now.

Rich357, I'm guessing you can wear your knife around your neck while running around naked :D

Edited because something just crossed my mind. Why would you want to run around naked ?

If a cheated husband who carries a gun comes home and finds him, shouldn't the poor man run around naked ? :D
sooo... neck knife

i am a smoker. before i leave the house i always check for my smokes, lighter, and knife.

i am confident any smoker out there does a check before they leave home too.

I have issues if I forget my knife. Doesn't happen much. I saw a thing on the news where they named peoples anxiety when they forget their phone. I'm that way with my knife and fire radio. Hell with my phone, I have to have my knife and radio.

Funny enough, I can forget my wallet at home and don't recognize it until I'm buying something, but I'll realize that I've left my BM710 at home when I'm no more than 10 paces out the door! Call that priority... :P

I rarely forget to take my knife with me. Sometimes I must leave it at home tho. Then I feel lost without it.

Sure do, but I hardly ever leave the house without a knife or multitool these days; I keep my Gerber A-F Combat Folder and Gerber 600 plier on my ACU belt at all times. All I have to do is just put on my pants in the morning, and I have my EDC with me.

I haven't been without a knife of some sort in over 25 years.

It's not so bad when I forget my knife. If I have to cut something like a string or whatever, I'll just shoot it with my Glock.

Watch, wallet and knife - three things that if I'm without any one of them I feel absolutely lost.
