I've got a well used old Brute ,,, . I was told that both were to become collector items. Now apparently both are being remanufactured, so there you go. My view always was\is buy them and use them.

the new brute and patrol machete will be new... quite different from the old models. but not for some years too

Siegle makes a pretty spiffy khukri for something made from stock. 1/4 inch thick, thicker than almost all others made from stock. some could be thicker though

yo ho ho, and this is why i have a chest of Beckers :>

some to use, some to keep. it's kinda spiffy having them basically NIB, with that fresh vaseline smell on them. oh yeah.

it was quite a find a little while ago getting essentially a factory new Brute, with pretty much zero shelf wear. same for a Patrol Machete a while ago. and even a BK10. quite a year. which is why i released a few users to the wild. kinda figured i don't have to have six of each except well, you know, Machaxs. mine mine mine

I have a few old BKT's that will never get used, unless zombies rise up, and start driving cars. That's about the only reason my RBK's and BK2 will be pulled out of the shelf of very important knives. Moose

I just said the other day that my BK77s will never get used unless a.) I pick up another BK77 or b.) It's time for me to start killing zombies in style
