Do you have a favorite Blade related book?

I owned this book at one time, and sadly sold it years ago. The amount that I received for it was generous at the time, however, the current price is through the roof. For Marble collectors, it is the definitive guide on the subject.

Moorecock wrote the song "Black Blade" for Blue Oyster Cult, Cultisaurus Erectus album. Funny song about this poor guy being chosen by a magic sword to be its killing tool.

I am a Tolkien fanatic for over 45 years, my favorite is The Silmarillion, greatest book ever written. These gave me a a deep love of bladed weapons, especially Axes.

What do you like so much about the Silmarillion? I binged The Hobbit and LOTR as a teenager but found the Silmarillion boring and inaccessible, maybe I didn't give it a fair shot.
