I have two or three dozen pocket knives that just sit. All good knives just not fitting into the rotation. Makes me wish the old slip-joint trade thread was still up and running. To bad some good things have to come to an end.
After trying hard to like them, I've given up on knives with frames shorter than 4" and with multiple blades. I'm over 6' 3" tall and have big hands. Small pocket knives frustrate me. Generally, the ergos of multi bladed knives out me off too. No need for a pen blade as my Micra has that covered.
My interest has pretty settled on longish single blade designs.
All of the tacticals that I've purchased over the years are sitting in a drawer. They are waiting for my next secret mission. Not that there's ever been one. I'd trade all of them for GECs, Queens, Case, or SAKs. Sticking to traditionals forever.
Of the 23 knives, I have 13 have not been carried for a LONG time...I have actually started selling them off....and will continue to do so until I'm down to a manageable 10 or so.
