Do you have any brand collaborations you'd like to see?

Any companies you feel would make a great product together?

I have this image of a knife in my head created by Victorinox and Great Eastern Cutlery. The scales would be made of a red jigbone with a steel Swiss Vic shield emblem bolted into them along with steel bolsters at the ends. The blade would be made of 1095 in the shape of a traditional SAK pen shape but with a long pull instead of a nail nick. For uniformity the scissors would be too, but I think corrosion would be a lot harder to prevent on a pair of shears than it would a blade. No matter, I think it would look beautiful. The best of both companies forged into one fine work of art.

Benchmade and Spyderco?

I know Benchmade has a couple with the opening hole but I don't believe Spyderco has ever had any with the Axis lock.

Honestly though it may not be worth the pain of making that happen, and I'm ok with Spyderco locks as they are so I'm not holding my breath.

I would love to see a Cold Steel and Spyderco collab. My idea is basically a Spyder Edged, DLC coated CS-style tanto point Military in a 4" CPM 3V blade with a Spyder Hole, twill pattern carbon fiber handle, a Tri-Ad lock and a Spyderco-style wire clip with lots of JIMPANG.

Busse and CRK.

Sr101 with CRK strict build tolerances.

Opinel and William Henry. Keep the classic Opinel geometry and handle, but throw in a modern pivot, ZDP-189, thumbstuds and a good buttonlock. Classic good looks and unparalleled cutting performance.

I would love to see Emerson just hand over production of some of his designs to ZT. I like my ZT 0630 (Emerson collaboration) a lot but it still falls short of the superb ergonomics of my Emerson CQC-8 and Horseman. My Emersons all have too much blade and lock play. The fit/finish is atrocious. I think Emerson designs some great knives but his production standards fall well short of expectation, especially given their prices and what the competition is offering at similar prices. If ZT built a Horseman with the same materials and fit/finish of the 0200 (G10, steel liners, 154CM) I'd buy one right now.

Like to see Jason Brous and Benchmade get together.
Each Brous I have flips unbelievably smooth and fast.....love to see one with an Axis lock.
