Do you have any hair left!! On your arms anyway!!!

My hair is light colored. I guess darker hair would definitely make for some interesting patchwork looks!

I usually have a patch of hair missing from the top of my left forearm just for kicks :D
Can't beat shaving sharp right?!?

What's really ridiculous is the flat spot on my left thumbnail that's scratched and scored like a cutting board.:p
I like the "catch the thumbnail test" the most because sometimes I get razor burn from hair shaving tests and I
don't always trust feeling for sharpness with the "print side" of my thumb because it is calloused and that dulls my sense of touch there.

A better sharpness test I've been using more lately is a bright LED light from my phone or head lamp.
If you see bits of the edge shining up at you, it's dull. Once the edge "goes black", or you no longer see any parts of the edge shining up at you,
you can pretty much bet its sharp. Make sure you wipe the blade down as bits of grit and dust will deceive you and hide/ cover the shiny spots.

It depends on how long its been since my last purchase. I check each new one that way. Usually on Christmas my left arm has either a large bald spot or many small ones. Sharpening though is paper to see if the entire length of blade is decent.
