Do you have baby sized hands? Do/did you have a Paramilitary 2? Give it to me straight... How's/How'd it work for you?

Spyderco makes LOTS of smaller knives.

My favorite small Spyderco is the PITS. Discontinued w/a lock system similar to the Demko AD-15.
There's also the Mantra 1 or 2. Also both discontinued. Or the Manta 3; still being made, I believe.
And, of course, there's the UK Penknife. Still being made. A slipit designed to pass the UKs silly knife laws.

If you don't like or can't find these, there are still more. Good luck finding the 1 that suits you best. :)

BTW, I own all of the knives mentioned plus others.

I’ve got a few dozen Spyderco’s at this point. :)

I just thought it was time to try the PM2 with how often it gets recommended…. And the combination of Micarta and Cruwear was just too good to pass up.

I like the Para 2 a lot, but I am bothered that the blade is so small relative to handle. For example the Kapara is about the same size closed has almost 1/2" more cutting edge. But... I do find the chunky Para 2 grips easy to lock into for some tasks. I have medium hands. A small Sebenza (which has the same amount of usable edge) is too small for me to comfortably hold.

Took my kids out to dinner, this past Monday. This thread popped into mind..

I gave my daughter a DLC M4 and purple G10(from the cruwear model) Paramilitary 2, for her 13th Bday.. Was Feb 19th..

She carried her PM2, to cut up her steak. After dinner, I started asking her about it. How it felt and fit, in hand. How she liked it. How it compared to her DF2, Para 3, LW Para 3, Boomer52 Para/militia Delica..

She said it felt and fit Great. She really likes it!

So, 13 yr old hands, approved..
