Do you have more modern knives than traditional?

I have a couple traditionals, but most of my knives are modern. I'm a strong believer in the idea that form should always follow function.
Of course, there are some traditionals that offer exemplary features and performance for what they are - like the SwissChamp that I EDC on my belt.

Definitely more moderns than traditional - but my grandpa was a hell of a man and all he ever had was Buck slipjoints. I appreciate them both but favor modern.

Depends on how you define traditional. If that means Case-type slipjoints, then I have more modern. If you count SAKs, I probably have as many of those as I do modern locking folders.

More traditionals for me im a firm believer that function should always follow form ! ;)

Traditional by 2:1. When it comes to non-assisted, 3"-blade models there simply isn't much out there that "speaks" to me of the modern variety. High-end steel, pocket clips, and one-hand opening are just fine in my book, but you can only take so much black G-10 before you start falling asleep choosing which to carry.

I have more modern knives. I do have a few traditionals, but I dont carry them much because I like 1 hand opening alot, and flippers.
Traditionals can be very elegant, and I bought a GEC Toothpick in Snakewood because I like the look so much.

I want to get a few modern knives with wooden handles to give them that great traditional type look.

I have slightly more modern folders. I love both styles, and fixed blades too! :D

Knives, knives, knives, I love knives... knivey knives knives......

Almost ALL of my knives are 'Modern' designs. For some reason, traditional folders just don't speak to me. Plus, unless I'm carrying a gentleman's folder in dress clothes, I always have a knife clipped to my pocket. Hardly any traditional knives have clips.

More Traditionals

but I do have a few USA Kershaws and a first spyderco on the way. I will always be a traditionalist at heart.

Almost all my knives are traditional. I have one or two semi modern that people gave me, but they are somewhere att he bottom of my sock drawer. At least that's where I put them years ago.
