Do you keep your knife boxes?

Anyone on here keep their knife boxes? I know that you're supposed to keep them, but I got rid of all of mine. I kept the Benchmade bags, and that was it. I keep my knives in a small bureau. The drawers should be lined with some type of cloth, but they are not. All of my knives are either in the sheath, or in a knife roll.

I guess I committed knife heresy, but what the hell. Some more junk to get rid of.

I keep my boxes if I'm collecting the knives; if the knives are users I toss the boxes.

I keep boxes for a lot of things.. Phones, knives, other stuff. I keep them until I no longer have the thing or really need space.

No, no space for it. Plus I only buy a knife with the intention of keeping it.. I only sell when the knife and I have "irreconcileable differences"

toss them all. But recently, I've kept the box for a spyderco forester, only knife I haven't used...yet.

It seems that knives are like guns in that they're more desirable on the secondary market with boxes. I try to hang onto all of my boxes. I may not sell any of them, but, you never know.

Toss them all including any accessories like extra o rings and lanyards I know I'll never use. Life's too short to be lugging a bunch of crap around with you.

I even keep the clam packs...........................:p.

Seriously, if the box is nice, like a two piece box, I'll keep it. Otherwise, I don't care one way or the other.

:).

I keep the boxes so the collectors can give me the "full" value of a knife if I happen to sell them. Got to keep the overly anal collectors happy so I can get my money's worth. (You would think they would have been happy with the sharp object in their hands but I learned I was wrong)

I'm the same way especially with dvd cases, I have a huge number of them, but am running out of space very quickly. I might have to buckle down and just put the dvds in sleeves and get rid of the cases. Same might go for my knife boxes. There are some boxes I'll just keep, but it all depends on the space you have.

Boxes don't really take up that much room. You can twist em, turn em, stack em, stand em up, whatever so I pretty much keep my knife boxes BUT those dang GEC tubes are another story. They take up a lot of room so I've only kept the tubes for the knives I might sell or get rid of.
