nope, it doesnt get bad if kept dry and semi clean, and it all comes off with a sharpening anyway.

Does anyone else use wd40? i just spray it on then wipe the excess off with paper towel.

They are made to be soiled, not oiled. Seriously though, yeah I just use WD-40 and wipe em dry.
