Do you know how many knives you actually own??

I did some cleaning up of the safe last night, and decided to get organized. I am very suprised how many I had accumulated over the years. I knew what I had, I just didn't ever put all of them on the table. My collection is probably not even close to some of you, but I have 108 in my safe. How many do you own, or do you even know yet? My wife looked suprised, and I decided not to tell her what they are worth. (Good thing she doesn't know the combination to the safe!)
 
Right now I have 14 knives, but that will change soon as I have 2 custom knives that will be arriving soon.

i dont have a lot,but i dont know how many exactly.seems like im always getting more,slowly but surely.
 
I would guess somewhere in the neighborhood of 30-35, and I'm just getting started.

I doubt that I can quickly locate them all, let alone count them. 30 years ago I layed all I had out on a bed and took a picture. Back then it was only 60 or so.
 
Somewhere between 2 and 100. Damn, I'm afraid to even try countin' 'em, as I'm afraid that I'd end-up playing with a few of 'em and end up cuttin' myself again...

18 folders, 1 handmade,17 production HAPPY?
13 fixed, 5 handmade, 8 production
30 kitchen, 3 handmade,27 production
6 wife's, 1 handmade, 5 production
+1 wife's She was holding out!!
68 total, 10 handmade,57 production

Wait a minute! Something's wrong with this picture! The ratio is all off! My wife has too many knives! I'm going to have to go out and get more just to make it even!

I have not a clue.Probably between 5 and 6 hundred or so.My safe is way too small.

I'm not sure how many I have, but it's nowhere near as many as I need. I hope to one day (it mught take more time than that) to count them all. Just guessing though, it's over 40.

You caused me to count, I have 41 true knives, another 6 cheapos that I'm going to have ground down for trainers. Al
 
No idea. Probably in the neighborhood of 150.

No, and I don't want to know -- I'm in denial.

What's worse, my New Year's Resolution #1 for this year is to buy more knives, and I've already ordered one and am thinking about ordering more even before that one has arrived. (By the way, Resolution #2 is more sex. I haven't done anything about that one yet, but I'm thinking about it....)

I'm in therapy now. I'm just beginning to get in touch with my Inner Adolescent....
 
Now we can make that 109 for my count!!! I went to Texarkana tonight and bought another BUCK 110. Like I really needed another one, but I just couldn't come home empty handed. This post is getting better, yall keep em coming!!!!

You beat me to it. I was pulling out the calculator and coming up short. Maybe Andy has a knife in the semi-handmade/production folder category?
