I am looking for a so called knife maker who might now live in the Clinton or Kansas City area of Missouri. He goes by the name of Dwayne Morganflash, or maybe now by the name of Dwayne Greene.

He makes knives and calls them or himself Bear Paw knives. He uses a little Bear Paw as a logo. Anyone who knows how to get a hold of this guy, address, phone number etc.
Any information on this guy would be appreciated.

I know of a Bear Paw custom Knives, but that is a fella by the name of David Pitt and he is out of California. He uses a bear paw with his name as his mark.

ive heard of a guy that goes by 'bear paw' locally, and have seen some of his knives at the springdale gunshow, and at hobo joes pawn shop (now shut down)

ill see if i can find anything.

There's a guy on eBay who is selling a handful of knives from this Duane Morganflash guy. Does anybody know anything about these knives, or this maker? Are they any good?

Here's one of the auctions here .

I think I can help here.
I saw this thread a long time ago and chose to leave it alone but now that it has recent replies I'm going to address them.
I'm the guy selling Duane Morganflash knives on ebay. I have known Duane Morganflash for over 10 years and he has never changed his name to "Dwayne Greene".
His logo is "Bearpaw Knives". He didn't even know that this thread about him existed until I showed it to him. He doesn't have much time for computers because he's usually busy making knives. He forges his own Damascus with a hammer and anvil and also hand forges many of his 52100 knives. Most of his knives are working knives but he also makes some fancy blades from time to time. Usually he enjoys making old fashioned, primitive styled workhorse knives. That's not to imply that collectors don't also appreciate his work because many do. Look at my ebay feedback.
I mention his name on my website and also show some of the scrimshaw work that I've done on his knives. He introduced me to the art form and the fact is, I probably wouldn't even know what scrimshaw was if it wasn't for his help.

Wow, this thread sure came back from the dead. After 2 and a half years, I wonder if Newt is still looking for Duane? Not likely.
