That is very cool.
It is a sperving bearing mount for an old school turbo-entabulator; it lines up with the panametric fam and virtually eliminates side fumbling in the marzel vanes and is the preferred apparatus for the reduction of soni-soidal repleneration
I've seen newer ones but the old ones are distinctive in design. That looks like a Lotus-O-Delta type
