Do you lanyard?

Yep....

No! Don't need to and don't like them.

Yes i do. Am using the standard crk lanyard, quite useful to grab the knife out from pockets imho.

God knows that I've tried. Even tried to make an exception for my CRK's. Nope can't do it. They just get in the way.

I just put one on my new EDC DPx HEAT - I'll try to post a photo in a bit. I found it much easier to access my knife with a small lanyard as it sits deep in my pocket. To remove the knife without the lanyard, I have to grab the G10 scale (inside my pocket) with my thumb and the clip with my index finger which made it grip my pocket even more because your actually pressing the clip against the outside pocket and the titanium scale. The lanyard eliminates the fumbling and makes it much easier to remove the knife from my pocket. I made my lanyard so I could fold it over the top of the knife so it's inside my pocket instead of sticking outside my pocket.

Edit: Did not realize this was the Chris Reeve forum when I posted. Please move or delete if needed.

I have lanyards for my fixed blades. None for my folders. Not a bead freak....I gave up bedazzling in the 90s. Haha.

Seriously though, I really hadn't considered a lanyard for my folders until I got a leather in the box with my S&S Mudbug. I might use it, but no beads.....

EDIT: Being on tapatalk I sometimes can't see, or totally miss which sub the threads originate in. I thought this was in General. I do not have a Sebenza. But if I did I might do the lanyard for it.

Aside from aesthetics, it really helps me draw/locate faster, and it somehow does actually give additional grip. Got some of those pewter skulls to boot...

I have a question for you guys that have done your own lanyards for your Sebenza 21's. How the hell do you get 550 paracord through the little hole on the gizmo that mounts to the back of the knife? I've tried everything I can think of to no avail.

I cut about an inch of the strings inside the paracord and then I could run it through the lanyard pin without any problems.. Works every time... [emoji16]

I've tried that but I couldn't get it. I melted the end of the sheath and tried to form a point and it still wouldn't go. Any other tips?

hmmmm.. try to cut the end of the paracord that's going into the pin at a 45 degree angle so that it forms into a point and lightly flame it just to remove the fringes... Once you are able to insert that pointy part of the paracord, try using pliers to pull it out on the other end as it is a tight fit... :D

I use 425 Paracord, it's closer to the diameter of the material CRK uses.

That's a good idea, I'll try cutting at 45 deg. Thanks.
