Do you lanyard?

hmmmm.. try to cut the end of the paracord that's going into the pin at a 45 degree angle so that it forms into a point and lightly flame it just to remove the fringes... Once you are able to insert that pointy part of the paracord, try using pliers to pull it out on the other end as it is a tight fit... :D

I tried your suggestion and it worked like a charm. Thanks for the help!

If you don't use a lanyard what do you do with the lanyard pin? I put a small bit of type 1A para cord in it just to help it stay put in my zaan.

Here's my way...:D

I never used the lanyard on any of my other Sebenzas. I never liked lanyards, and they always seemed to get in the way.

I could see where in a small seb, it could be beneficial though.

With that being said.....I have decided to try out the lanyard on my new large Insingo. The knife came on Monday and I left the lanyard on.

So far I like how it makes removing the knife from the pocket a little easier, but it still feels as though it's in my way when just clipped to my pocket.

The verdict is still up in the air for me.

My CRKs are the only knives I leave the lanyards on. Aside from that, I am not a lanyard guy at all. I think the stock lanyards with spacer beads look best, without a bead they do look a bit uninspiring

What are your impressions after a couple of weeks?

I've never used the lanyards. I've either untied them on arrival, or performed the first disassembly right away and removed it then. That being said, I got the urge to give it a try on my Large 21 Basketweave, so I picked up one in burgundy with the blue spacer. The change is throwing me off so far, but I'll give it a bit to see if I adjust positively.

There are some great looking lanyards here!

Well I tried if for two weeks and I just removed it yesterday. I am still not sure where I stand on it. It always felt like it was in the way when it was clipped to my pocket. The lanyard would hang forward and be sticking straight out from my hip or it would be pointing at my 12 o'clock.

But on the other hand, I really like being able to grab it and have the luxury of it assisting with knife removal from the pocket. I actually really like that feature.

I'm not sure. I think I might toss it back on and see how long I can go without removing it.

Who knows, maybe it will "break-in" and get a little softer rather than be just a stiff rope pointing straight out.

Not sure if that helps. Haha.

I've got them on all my CRKs as I like the way they look. I also have them only on my CRKs, no other makes.

I do feel they are in the way 99% of the time, but that other 1% they make it very handy to pull the knife out of my pocket.

So they remain.
