Do You Let Other People Touch Your Sebenza?

Nope.
Last time I handed mine to a friend he promptly licked his arm then shaved off a patch of hair. Gross man. I cut food with that blade. I cleaned it with alcohol but all I can envision is that scurvy hairy spit pile festering on the edge of the blade. Looked like something the cat coughs up.

Always nice when they test the edge and cut themselves also.

The person i let see mine didn't know how to close it.

it is just a production knife ...yes...

but its a Sebenza.

I let a girl use it briefly once and i felt like smiling ,her just thinking it is just another knife to cut what she needed cutting.(it cuts like any other knife..yes)

but her not knowing what went in to it and the process i go through when i take it apart to clean it at a little work station i set up on a table.

The odd time frustration occurs when it dosent go back together properly and i have to start again (love taking it apart)

its like a rare penny or coin that gets spent and passed around and the unknowing don't know.

All the time, except when I know they want to cut something that'll ruin my hard worked edge.

Everyone says 'wow this is a nice knife!'.

Well, when the folks I work with think $30 is too much to pay for a knife and don't know the difference between a frame lock, liner lock or spine lock much less the type of steel associated with a knife, they are not welcomed to use one of my USA made sebenzas. I will let them look at one and maybe hold it, but as stated earlier, they have no clue how to close it and that bothers me. That's why I carry a second knife. The sebenza is for me. So, no I don't let people use my sebenza.

I let them hold it to look at them. As far as cutting tasks or usin,. I make sure and ask what are you cutting/doing with first :D
