Light. The feel of anything heavy in my pocket (with the exception of large sums of money) annoys me.

I take a small electronic scale when I go to knife shows (if I get pulled over & searched, I'll have some splainin' to do). These days if a knife weighs more than 4 oz or so, it's too much for EDC. I wish that more knife sellers & makers would post the weight of their knives. If I know the weight & blade length, and can see a picture of the knife, I have a pretty good idea whether I might want to buy.

I like a knife with some heft in my hand, but not in my pocket. I typically carry a small knife in my watchpocket if wearing pants with a watchpocket, and if needed, a heftier knife on a belt sheath.

If camping, I especially prefer a knife with some weight for chopping, etc.

I like both. When I am dressed up or at work I like a smaller, lighter knife. At home and on the weekends I like the feel and heft of a heavier knife.
