Do You Like Swiss Army Knives?

I love his work.
I'm awaiting an Electrician Plus that he will swap out the scales for Blue and add a Phillips blade.

Also considering having him add a scissors to my Electrician...I really think the scissors should be in the Electrician Plus instead of a saw.

I never leave home without a One Hand Trekker so I'm kinda a SAKs addict.
I found my beater OHT so I'm going to send it to Robert for disection.
I never use the tin opener so I'm thinking a smaller blade would be perfect.
Maybe grind down a blade to a Wharnie shape.

That never made any sense to me either! I would rather have seen scissors too but maybe they had an abundance of saws so they just threw them on all kinds of saks! :D

They're a little off with their names I think. I feel the electrician plus is a better outdoor model then the Farmer. Extra blade instead of a can opener is where it's at. Plus the wire stripper area on the small blade is a great firesteel striker. My ideal SAK would be an electrician plus with 154cm or better blades. That would be a hell of a pocket knife.

Edit: Now if John and he teamed up to produce one with an O1 JK blade, my search would be over as far as pocket knives. Of course I'd have to buy two so I can get 4 decades of use and abuse out of them. :D

I like the small blade alot, I like the shape and cut out for the wire stripper and I am sure that blade has multiple uses! :)

It wouldnt hurt me any if they did put higher blade steel in them but that wont happen for production saks but maybe on anniversary or special occasions that could make the run with better steel. Heck, I probably wouldnt even notice the difference in the minimal use the saks get from me.

Nice, Peter! I like SAKs, and eventually I will have a nice Ti waiter so I can rotate with my well worn old companion knife.

best

Question for you SAK guys. Rob Babcock recently sent me one of his dad's SAKS. Thanks Rob.:D
I like to know what I have so I'm asking you guys. What model is this? I can't figure it out. I know one thing, it's going to be in my pocket for a long, long time.

Thanks guys. I keep seeing the new climbers and they have a hook that this one doesn't. That was what was throwing me off.
It's knice to be back in the world of SAKs again.
