Do you love Competition finish

Cant say how it holds up because I never owned Infi in CF but it sure looks bad ass, especially on those TGLB's.

That entire knife is beautiful. I like the finish with those scales. I'm new to the whole Busse thing and was not sure what finish to get until I spoke with Lexi. She recommended the CF so I went for it. After seeing yours I think I made a good decision. I'm tired of all my blades being coated. If you don't mind me asking, how does that G10 feel and grip in your hand? That was my biggest concern. I love the options you can choose from with the G10 but my primary concern is grip in humid and/or wet conditions. Also blood. Living in South Florida and running around the swamps plays a big role in my choice over looks. I ended up going with the tan Micarta. My limited experience with G10 is that it can be really grippy like my Emerson folders or downright slick so I was hesitant to take a chance. What's your personal opinion on my decision? Did I make a mistake not realizing their G10 is just as grippy as Micarta in those conditions? Also, how long did it take for yours to come in? I ordered mine on Dec 2nd and thought I could wait till I saw yours! Congratulations with that beauty. I do apologize for the long post and many questions, but I came across this and went crazy. (=

I love my CF TGLB. Even more impressive is that the grinding looks like it was all done by CNC, then finished in the shop. DCBB spine, smooth and shiny bevels, it's a great finish for a production knife!

I like the G10.I have never had a problem with G10 being slick with the milling and shaping of the handles.

I ordered mine Nov 1 and it came Dec 24

I have TGLB coming with competition finish and tan micarta handles coming as soon as I get it paid for. I am looking forward to it. Just need to get a sheath for it and all will be complete.

Contact Leatherman.
The one above he made for mine is perfection.

Thanks. That was my concern since it's up to the design of how grippy it will be. After looking at only pictures I was concerned it might be a little slick. Now you tell me this and I'm second guessing my original order since I really like the G10 offerings. I am in love with the desert sage and tan/ black scales. Only problem is I can't see myself putting any wear on such a beautiful finish. So I am so tempted to order a second in black with green/ black scales. Darn, I wish you would've told me it was slicker than grease on marble. Lol.

OH,OK!
It is slicker than whale crap on a half melted iceberg and just about as slick as owl crap in a mudhole.

BTW if you just placed your order I am sure they wouldn't mind if you wanted to change it. You could call the shop and ask if it is to late.

I ordered the Spec Ops in cayote brown after talking to Lexi. I love those sheaths for running around the woods plus I use the front pocket for fire kit and emergency stuff in case I get separated from my pack. Heck, I sleep with my main knife on when out in the bush. But for this one I would like to get a nice tan leather one made with a ferocium rod holder.

Thank you!!! I have waited for so many years for my first Busse that I pretty much gave up. It had to be new and something that really appealed to me. Every time I checked the site they either had nothing for sale or that I wanted. They by pure luck I came across the TGLB which is a dream come true for me! I always wanted a TG but now I can get this model which I think is even better for me. I feel like such a noob but this is really a dream come true. I ordered a Scrap Yard 711 the same day and got it on the 21st. Similar story with that one. But my ultimate will be the TGLB. Thanks again for the hospitality. I am happy to finally be able to join the Busse family.

Remind me not to be drinking a nice cold soda before looking at your posts!!!!! :D :D :D

I think I still have time to change it but I will keep that as my hog sticker. You are very close though to getting me to order a second one with black and black/ green scales to go with my mil gear and overall eye candy. SERIOUSLY!

Here is something to push you over the edge. Green-black is sweeet.
