Do you mind a knife only has one Pocket clip position? Like below one...

I can't stand tip down carry. I won't buy a knife if that's the only option.

I dont mind
i prefer tip up, but honestly dont mind either way, plus, with basic skill you can drill and tap more clip locations... unless you are worried about resale value..

i care more about having only 1 thumbstud actually, i sometimes use my other hand, or my middle finger, or catch on my pocket to open the knife, those three are done on the off stud, I wouldnt buy a knife with only 1 stud,

Mine are mostly in the pocket and not clipped on. I don't like my edc's to show everywhere. Even a deep clip is still a clip and everybody knows that its probably not a pen...
Now if I know that I might need to deploy it fast then a clip would be great, but I tend to avoid such areas of my town.

Yes, you are right....me too, some times I also like using my left hand to operate knife...it's not convenient if only one side stud.

I prefer a low ride, tip up configuration , but if I like the knife, it's not a deal breaker for me.

I will occasionally carry tip down if I have to like on my Leek because tip up makes most of the knife stick out, but I will almost always try and carry tip up. I really do not mind buying a knife with a single pocket clip position as long as it is tip up on the right side. I get the most use out of it that way. This is how most of the customs are at least when I order one.

I don't mind a single-position pocket clip... as long as that position is tip-up right side.

If it's not tip-up right side I may still buy the knife but I won't EDC it unless it can be converted. (For example I own a few CRKT's that are tip-down, I use them but I don't EDC them)

It depends on the knife. When I order a custom I get it drilled for different clip positions, but I don't usually expect that with a production knife. (I know that some offer it) I don't care for it as much when you can't move the clip but it is not a deal breaker.

For me a knife MUST have either a flipper or dual studs. Those are nonnegotiable. For the clip I can live with any position if I like the knife enough, but I prefer it to have tip up left/right carry. I'm a lefty and always carry my knife on the left side, but the right drilling makes the knife have wider appeal in case I decide to trade it (which I have with almost every knife so far).

That knife at the top is pretty damn gorgeous. Looks like it will cost an arm and a few toes, though.

I am a lefty, so the ability to switch the clip to lefty tip-up carry is important to me.

Actually, I prefer it. I don't like a bunch of extra holes in my knives.

The vast majority of customs only have one clip location. Of course it helps when you can tell the maker exactly where and what type of clip you want.

To be totally honest, I'm ok with single position. I prefer tip up, but if I like the design I'll still buy it and use it.
