Do you mind a knife only has one Pocket clip position?

I don't mind single-position clips at all, many customs are made that way, and many of my favorite knives are the same. I even remove the clips on quite a few of my knives, because they feel so much more comfortable without one. Try it.

Hi, everybody, thks so much for your opinions abt my questions. So far, it looks like most of people like tip-up right hand one. Only a fe.............w guys like tip-down. And for Left-handy, of course they prefer left hand or a knife with extra clip holes on the other side. Thks again..:thumbup::D:D

And also, some people like a knife even without a clip. Yeah, I personally also take off the clip of my knives sometimes. It's a another feel. Quite smooth and comfortable. AHa.... Take Gooeytek 's suggestion, remove clip and feel it...

For me a knife MUST have either a flipper or dual studs. Those are nonnegotiable. For the clip I can live with any position if I like the knife enough, but I prefer it to have tip up left/right carry. I'm a lefty and always carry my knife on the left side, but the right drilling makes the knife have wider appeal in case I decide to trade it (which I have with almost every knife so far).

That knife at the top is pretty damn gorgeous. Looks like it will cost an arm and a few toes, though.
aha, do you want to buy one? I can tell you where to buy.. it's not expensive...

I can deal with being stuck with tip up or tip down, but being a southpaw, I wont get any knife that has no provision for left-carry or usage

I recently got a knife with tip down ( clip one side only )
I thought i was a tip up only but totally happy with tip down
On this knife .
I also agree less holes looks better .

Tip-down is what I like. Do not want a bunch of FUGLY extra holes for a position I will not use. So therefore I will not buy knives with holes for tip-up. Tip-up feels so dang unnatural.

Same with me, being left-handed. And this makes a lot of cool and affordable production knives off limits to me... although I did recently just buy a couple with only tip up right option, I plan on trying them without the clips. Sometimes a knife is just so cool and affordable I have to try it even if the carry configuration is the worst (tip up right) for me (prefer tip down left).

I always research a purchase before I make it and already know what the knife offers as far as clip positions before I pull the trigger on it.

I'm ok with single position as long as I love the knife more than the clip position. One of my favorites, the Fox Anso Flipper has tip down only option. It's such a shame for such a well made flipper, but hey it didn't discourage me from buying, carrying, using, and enjoying the knife. Same goes with my Benchmade 635 and 630.
